I Knew It Would Happen, Channel 8

I knew it. I knew it, Frank. I knew that you would completely blow tonight’s airing of Lost.

Looks like I wasn’t the only one ticked off, as this commenter wrote on the KTUL website:

Wow Frank using that safety card again for the upteenth time? Sure there were several spotted tornadoes in the area that knocked over trash cans and broke a few windows but please…3 hours to drone on? You guys are pathetic and i like alot of other people will complain to the ABC national offices! Oh no another storm in the area the sky is falling!!

So I’m wondering when they will replay the show, right? Here’s their answer:

Many of you are asking about Thursday night’s programming that was pre-empted because of the coverage of tornadoes across central and eastern Oklahoma.
NewsChannel 8 will contact ABC about rescheduling the programming that was missed. We will have the rebroadcast information on our website and will provide the information on our newscasts once that is determined.
You can also watch episodes for free online the day after their broadcast. Just visit http://www.ktul.com/abc/videoplayer.

Heck, it’s not even their “videoplayer”. It’s the player from ABC, that…. ding ding ding.. requires you use this:

Wonderful, considering I don’t use any of those. Even using different browser identifications won’t fool it.

I hate you KTUL. You just became my public enemy number 1. You are so on my crap list.
Lost is the ONLY show I watch on TV. The ONLY ONE. I pay $50 a month to watch one freaking show per week! You owe me $12.50 Frankie-boy.

I was coming out of my skin with that last night. No weather here in Tulsa or Tulsa County. Countryside tornadoes; nothing in the towns; jeez louise! I also watch The Office and, yes, it was pre-empted for the entire episode.

Our local weathermen are out of control and running amuck.

ok, so I watched the Lost re-airing last night at 1135pm. Don’t like having to stay up past midnight because weather folks like to rant about the wind in empty fields…

2 weeks ago,in SE Oklahoma,(and it wasn’t a tornado)Threlkeld was worse when he cut off the final question in Jeopardy. All he had to do was wait 5 minutes for KJRH evening news.Meteorologists act as if they need to blab faster than a 5 year old needing to go to the bathroom!
